ask yourself this question:
is our community better off now than it was 4 years ago?
if "NO" - it's time to vote for change...

  • Over the past 4+ years our city has deteriorated and the people running our local government do not seem to meet the problems of today with the urgency that is required.
  • We have had multiple cases of missed funding opportunities due to oversights in the application processes.
  • We have a multi-million- dollar scandal at the regional district level that still leaves people with more questions than answers. We have had BC Housing choose how Kamloops handles our homeless crisis, while they reside in Victoria, unaware of how their decision making is affecting the residents and businesses of Kamloops.
  • We have crime, theft, and vandalism going unchecked in our business corridors leading to additional challenges for  businesses & residents.
  • The majority of other mayoral candidates this year are all current or former city councilors that have overseen the mismanagement of our city - we don't need more politicians.
  • Reid is asking for your vote if you are tired of ineffective bureaucracy and failed leadership getting in the way of solving our key issues and getting back to a Kamloops we all can be proud of and safe in - like it used to be for all residents.

If you are ready for a safer community where government acts in the best interest of its citizens and Kamloops
becomes a prosperous city for all its’ people, then vote for a change and vote for Reid Hamer-Jackson.
