• Meet Reid 
  Reid is a life-long Kamloopsian, having been in Kamloops since 1973. He is an avid community volunteer and contributor and also runs a local business in town – TRU Market Truck and Auto Sales. Reid is a member of the Performing Arts Center Society and is a sponsor of local arts and recreation. Reid holds the title of father, husband, uncle, business owner, and lifelong community member. 
  Reid has not been involved in politics in the past, but the current state of lack of government oversight and accountability combined with a deterioration in community safety led Reid to put his name in the 2022 Mayoral race. Reid's goals around increasing community safety, working to provide attainable housing, and investing in sustainable infrastructure will be pillars that will allow Kamloops to become a more prosperous town for everyone. 
  Reid wants to see a new vision at City Hall and with all mayoral candidates being current councilors, Reid believes more of the same is the not the answer for a better Kamloops and Reid, like so many others, feels the safety and general pride in Kamloops has declined significantly past 5 years. He wants to spearhead a push for a better, safer, and more sustainable community.
  
  ​He intends to make a very strong, and determined push for a safer, more prosperous and more sustainable community - a community we can all be proud of again.
